In preparation for the 80th anniversary of VE Day on 8 May 2025, Central BID Birmingham has adorned New Street with vibrant Union Flag bunting.
The bunting, featuring the iconic red, white, and blue of the Union Flag, stretches across New Street, adding a festive and patriotic atmosphere to the city centre.
Central BID is dedicated to enhancing the city centre experience and has undertaken this project as part of its ongoing efforts to support retail, leisure, and hospitality businesses by creating an inviting and celebratory environment.
