Popeyes®’ flagship restaurant in Birmingham city centre is offering diners everything from hot wings to new breakfast menu including Cajun hash browns.
American Popeyes®’ new sit-in restaurant opens in New Street at 11am on Friday August 2. First customers have the chance of winning free Chicken Sandwiches for a year along with merchandise. A New Orleans style band will entertain crowds too.
Popeyes® started out in New Orleans 50 years ago but is now world-famous for its ‘shatter crunch’ chicken. Its restaurants and food trend on social media under #FamousLouisianaChicken.
Due to demand, Popeyes® said its takeaway was expanding into a restaurant at 66 New Street, near Victoria Square.
Diners can choose from a varied menu that includes 12-hour marinated chicken, the iconic chicken sandwich range, hot wings, tenders, original Southern biscuits and gravy and Cajun rice.

There’s also a new breakfast menu with a Chicken Brekkie range, the big Cajun breakfast roll and Cajun hash browns. That is available from 8am to 11am every day.

Popeyes® opening hours are Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 11pm, Wednesday to Sunday, 8am to 11.59pm.
