A consultation process for the Moor Street Gateway project has been launched with businesses invited to share their feedback.
The project aims to create a new gateway to the city from New Street and Moor Street stations and Curzon Street Station for HS2, providing an improved transport environment and a place where people can interact and enjoy green space in the heart of the city.
Aligning with the Birmingham Transport Plan’s vision for a sustainable, green, inclusive, go-anywhere network, Moor Street Gateway aims to create a ‘One Station’ identity between New Street, Moor Street and Curzon Street stations and changing trains or mode of transport for onward travel is a smooth experience for both visitors and regular travellers.
Full details of the consultation and a plan of the proposed scheme will be available online at www.birminghambeheard.org.uk/bcc/moorstgateway alongside an online response form. The consultation will run until Friday 15 November 2024.
Feedback will be gratefully received either via the project response form or a letter/email which you can send to connected@birmingham.gov.uk.
