Birmingham Selfridges doubles up as a go-to sports attraction this summer with a climbing wall and special children’s day on August 1.
Sportopia will see fun and games on every floor plus major-league brand collaborations.
As the Paris 2024 Olympics gets underway, those wanting to have a go for themselves at climbing and other skills will find an unmissable experience in the iconic department store from July 25 for six weeks. Visitors to Selfridges can scale a huge 30ft climbing wall in the atrium of the department store as part of ‘Social Climbers’.
While parents looking for something to do with the family should diary up the Little Sportopia event on August 1 in the Kids and Toys on Floor 1. Along with sporty games, there will also be face painting, live music and crafting plus free sweet treats and drinks.
Sportopia is set to welcome everyone to socialise and play from the end of July and throughout August. The Summer event is inspired by Selfridges’ 100-year legacy of sporting spectacle.
The wall is bookable for groups of up to six at a time. To book your space or to find out more visit: https://www.selfridges.com/GB/en/features/info/stores/events/birmingham/
