Birmingham vegan restaurant Land – renowned for its plant based dining – has again been highlighted by Michelin as among the best in the country.
The restaurant in Great Western Arcade, open from Wednesday to Saturday, has announced that it has kept a spot in the new Michelin Guide for 2025.
Since co-owners and Head Chefs Adrian Luck and Tony Cridland opened Land in 2019, it has become renowned for its seasonal plant-focused dishes. It’s one of the city’s many independents attracting diners from far afield into Birmingham to eat.
Dishes are “inspired by flavours from around the globe” and guests enjoy four and six-course Chef’s Tasting Menus. Ingredients range range from squash, kimchi and adobo to char sui and fava bean.

It’s a favourite with the Michelin Guide, which highlighted Land as one of the best vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the UK in 2023.
Famed restaurant critic Jay Rayner also loved Land, describing it as “vegan cooking to file under thrilling”.
Land posted a message to its customers saying: “We’re delighted to share that we have retained our spot in the Michelin Guide for 2025. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to welcome you to Land soon.”

Four courses cost £50 and six courses are from £70. Bookings can be made from the Land website here.
The restaurant is open on Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm; Thursday from midday to 1pm and 6pm to 7.30pm and on Friday and Saturday from midday to 1pm and 5pm to 9pm.
