US bakery Cinnabon has opened in Birmingham’s Bullring. Shoppers eager to try its world-famous cinnamon rolls formed long queues throughout its launch day.
Cinnabon, which started out in Seattle in 1985, now has 11 stores in the UK. This Birmingham shop stands out for being its first in the Midlands.
The bakery sells a range of flavoured iced ‘bons’ and has a tagline of ‘life needs frosting’. They include a new Chocobon featuring Oreo crumbs.
Excited passers-by took part in a spin a wheel content for a chance of winning food and other prizes. Staff handed out goodie bags to customers to mark the launch day on Friday July 12.
Cinnabon’s new store is in front of H&M Home’s store in the shopping centre’s Upper West Mall.
